Cams & Cam Options
RPM Engines and Machine is specifically trained to work with cams and cam options. Working with cams is a very important job that can have a large impact on the engine’s performance at different speeds. Cam selection is a science with a little bit of voodoo thrown in. The technology has changed just in the last few years that allows us to lower spring pressures and valve train weight and being able to spin the engine to higher speeds without compromising valve train life.
The question then becomes, how do you choose a cam? Are you building a daily commuter or a weekend cruiser? Are you building a racecar? The most important question to ask is, how do you intend to use the vehicle most of the time? If you plan to turbocharge the vehicle, or have a supercharger installed, there’s a huge difference between what modifications will be performed to this engine rather than a daily driver.
Not only are we experts at working with cams and cam options, but we also provide the best customer service around. Check out this review from one of our customers, Brandon S. 5-Stars.
“Great group of guys that work here. Everyone that works here is very knowledgeable and isn't trying to sell you on something you don't need. They do a full inspection on your vehicle and will make recommendations on what you may need. Oh, and they wash your vehicle!”
